A shabby chic party inspired by all things vintage, floral, and lace.  The delicate details were all hand crafted by me including the party hat, fabric garlands, monthly photo banner, and the paper mache hot air balloons I created with vintage inspired papers.  Whenever possible I try to incorporate items with sentimental value for a special touch.  Some of the fabric I used on the garlands was also used for the crib skirt on Charlotte's crib.

With my daughter's obsession of Minnie Mouse I knew there was no getting out of this theme for her 3rd birthday party!

This was such a fun party! Who doesn’t enjoy decorating their own personal cake?! I’m so happy I took the time to make each apron personalized with every guests name! It was something they got to take home, and it made for really cute photos!

Savannah’s birthday is in April and she’s always envious that Charlotte gets to have a pool party for her birthday in July. This year, Savannah decided she wanted to wait and have a joint birthday party…win/win for me!!!! I had so much fun creating the details for this whimsical, nature filled party. I had so much fun at the local florist selecting the perfect flowers to create that fairy garden feel. We had the perfect weather, and the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool and also the many crafts including decorating a fairy house, and painting a garden gnome.

This is definitely a true statement in Texas! April is a tough month to have a birthday party because the weather is so unpredictible! What a better way to make light of a rainy situation than to have tons of flowers? We beat the odds and luckily did not have April showers for the party!!

I’ve been dying to have a cactus party ever since I saw the trend begin! Memorial Day weekend was the perfect excuse to style everything cactus!

I had a blast creating Eala’s Mermaid Birthday party! I’m a lover of all things ocean relates so mostly I just had to scour my house for props for the dessert table. I think one of my favorite things I made for the birthday party were the mermaid gift bags….they turned out so cute with the colorful scales! This was my fist time making a balloon arch and I gotta say I love the way it turned out….including a last minute stop on the side of the road for some greenery….I’m sure the neighbors won’t mind! Happy birthday sweet girl!

One of my best friends had a grand opening party at her new photography studio! I had so much fun creating this soft, vintage dessert setting! Also, the homemade strawberry frosting is literally to die for!!!

It was a blast setting up this vintage travel themed 80th birthday party at the Oasis. With the backdrop of beautiful Lake Travis, the setting could not have been more perfect (except maybe the mural behind the dessert table). I love the details that went in to making this travel party feel vintage, including the custom photo cookies of the birthday girl when she was a bride, and a little girl…so sweet!
