I just wanted to take a moment to let you know I am very much still here, and I am still taking orders. With three girls, and cookies, it is much easier for me to stay updated through Instagram and Facebook since I can post so easily on those…find me there!
What a week!!
Wow, last week was eventful that’s for sure and this pregnant gal was exhausted by the end! For the Girls and Giving event by Partnerships For Children, I was beyond excited to create a dessert display for the 1980’s theme….talk about a blast from the past! I had quite the busy week making 250+ cookies and 7 dozen cupcakes not to mention also planning and sourcing items for the display! I will post an album soon, here’s a few photos for now! The lighting is not great as it was very dark in there but you get the point :)
Wow, has it really been 3 months?!?
Wowzers, sorry this website has been neglected! Let me just put it out there that I tend to keep my instagram and facebook a little more updated! I've had a busy summer with lots of parties to update you on! I also had a long trip back to Michigan (where I'm from) and I'm sure missing that cooler weather right about now! This summer we had a chance to take the girls to northern Michigan which includes some of my favorite little towns including Mackinac Island where cars are outlawed and to get around you walk, ride bicycles, or horses....what an adventure that was!
We all scream for ice cream.....
I just completed these adorable ice cream cone cookies for my daughter's class as they are celebrating summer birthdays tomorrow so I thought these would be perfect! Now I just need to complete cookies for all the moms and I'm done! If you think these are cute, check out the gallery for the ice cream parlor party I did for my daughter a few years back, that was by far a favorite!!!
PS....just had a friend ask a huge favor if she could get rainbow cookies by tomorrow....SURE...so now I will add that to my list today! Always handy to keep a batch of dough in the freezer!!!
Royal Wedding Cookies
I made these sweet treats for a client's "Royal Wedding Watch" party and I'm absolutely in love with them! It's totally acceptable if I cry when people eat them right?!? On another note, anyone need bridal shower cookies because I'm basically dying to style the party and make these again!!!!
If you need me....
If you need me i'll just be over here giddy decorating these cookies for a clients "Royal Wedding Watch" party! Beyond excited to be making some bridal themed cookies!!!
Busy week
It has been a busy week! I completed a last minute order of custom cookies for a big meeting a client was having, then I completed 3 dozen cookies for her workplace a few days later, all while preparing crafts and cookies for a LOL (a type of doll) sixth birthday party tonight! I'm excited to see Ainsely's face when she sees her house all decorated for the party!
Oops....
So, in hindsight it was not the best idea to put the cold butter in the oven (the warmest place in the house) to get it to room temperature the quickest. I totally forgot about it and got this text from my husband last night saying "really babe?" He went to heat up the girls dinner and had quite the smokey surprise. I have a lot of scrubbing in my future....
Teacher Appreciation
With teacher appreciation right around the corner I was so excited to create this custom cookie order! I loved it so much that I rolled out extra cookies to make the same ones for my daughter's teacher next week ;-)
Living the sweet life.....
On my to-do list.....start a blog.....
