A small town Michigan girl living in big ol' Texas!

For as long as I can remember I've had a love for baking.  My grandmother was the baker in the family, and likely the reason for my sweet tooth.  To this day I'm the happiest when I'm in the kitchen baking one of her recipes.
 
I have a degree in interior design and developed my skills during my time in Los Angeles where I learned from the best in the industry.  Working at "Designed To Move" as a staging assistant for multi-million dollar homes, it has always been a passion of mine to style and accessorize spaces.

The next step in my career was a designer at Kenneth Brown Design.  I still have to pinch myself that amazing job was real.  I was fortunate enough to design a home in Maui, and many celebrity homes thereafter.

Fast forward eight years and I've attended my fair share of engagement parties, baby showers, and birthday parties.  I look forward to my daughters' birthdays every year when I get to create a beautiful tablescape that represents not only their personalities, but also their love for sweets like their mom.
